Congrats to my friend Justin Moon, tho his brother Josh has to be disappointed his hard work didn't get recognized.

My hat is permanently tipped to Dave Ammenheuser. It was a challenging year in Riverside, and I'm sad to have to call myself a contributor to those ails. Dave's staff still showed up, getting five nods. If that doesn't speak to his leadership ability, I'm not sure what else will.

Washington Post dominance. And Mike Wise might be the paper's best sports feature writer. (Dave Kindred thinks it's Eli Saslow.)

Daily section over 175,000 hasn't been posted, but the site is down.

Kindred is right. Might not even be close.

I'd agree except he hasn't been a regular sports writer in at least three years.

    Boy, website is DOWN down.

Wonder if it has anything to do with that other thing yesterday. Lots of weird things going on.

I am sorry that I pissed you off so much that you had to to register so you could scold me.

I am also sorry that your paper finished ninth in that category.

I am sure there was some other reason why they only chose eight "winners".

Mizzougrad laying the smack down on the newbie. Weren't you supposed to finish your post by telling him to get you a beer?

You know, I was pretty sure I caught you giving me the sexy eye at the state championships a few years back. ...

But in all seriousness, thanks, man. And congrats to you and your staff, and all of my friends and colleagues being honored for their work.
