    U-T San Diego, formerly The San Diego Union-Tribune, has a new position for a Padres online beat reporter. The reporter also will assist on other beats in the offseason.

    We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and energetic reporter that will be active shooting, editing and posting video news, analysis and features. The reporter also will be expected to blog and tweet regularly. Travel will be involved.

    Strong digital skills and on-camera ability are necessary. Experience in those areas and on a beat are preferred.
