One thing has been missed in this whole story: Joe Cowley lives in suburban Minneapolis. He is a Minnesota resident. So, Joe was no doubt pissed off he had to get off his couch and actually show up to go to work. Flight is delayed? He takes out his frustrations on women everywhere. How Chris DeLuca and the Sun-Times continue to employ a Minnesotan to write stories and wash Ozzie Guillen's cars remains a mystery. But Cowley isn't the only writer on DeLuca's staff in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. The Sun-Times has 2 sports writers that live in the Minneapolis area and occasionally travel to Chicago to write sports, placing a greater burden on staffers that actually live in Chicago and can actually walk out the door and attend an event that day without Twitter raging.
