Since Dickey throws a "hard" knuckler, is he really a candidate for this, the way Wakefield and others were?

They play in Houston. In the Atlantic League. Because Houston is well-known for its Atlantic coastline.

I wonder if the same thing happened to him. They found out that reporter had previous experience with migraines, as I recall, and it caused her to look like she was having a stroke on the air. Scary.

If New Orleans and Nashville can be in the Pacific Coast League, I guess Sugar Land can be in the Atlantic League.

My sister lives there and my brother-in-law has taken the kids to a few games. It's a pretty affluent area, so the ballpark is pretty nice for that level, he says.

Mike Scioscia, genius, the next chapter:

    http://www.latimes.com/sports/sportsnow/la-sp-sn-angels-mark-trumbo-20120619,0,7612665.story?track=rss

Mark Trumbo has been the Angels' most consistent power hitter all season, taking a .319 average and team-leading 16 homers and 42 runs batted into Tuesday night's game against the San Francisco Giants.

The right-handed-hitting outfielder also had the same .319 average against right-handers (46 for 144) as he did against left-handers (23 for 72), and his slugging percentage against right-handers (.590) wasn't too far off his mark against lefties (.681).

But Manager Mike Scioscia said he will continue to use switch-hitter Kendrys Morales in the cleanup spot and Trumbo in the fifth spot against right-handers, even though Morales is hitting just .270 with seven homers and 23 RBIs and entered Tuesday with just four hits in his last 32 at-bats from the left side.

If there is a reason for this other than Morales has been there longer, I can't figure out what it is.

Remember when people were talking about Ryan Braun's slow start being some kind of evidence that he had been cheating?

Braun hit home run number 20 today. He is batting .321 with 51 RBI and 12 steals. So, if the slow start was proof that he had been cheating, what do his current numbers say?

    That he's cheating again?

    That would be my guess.

    Eric Holder tainted Braun's urine.

It's about time somebody looked into who framed him. You'd think Braun would want to know who was responsible.
