All Star Break starts after tonight's game.

Who do you have winning the big individual awards for the first half?

Gio, Harper, Davey Johnson and Ian Desmond.

Ba-da-boom. I'll be here all night. But all four could be in the running.

At this point anyway, there is just no way the NL MVP is anybody but McCutchen.

    Joey Votto?

The rookies of the year are pretty clear-cut in both leagues, with the one in the AL easily getting MVP consideration.

McCutchen in the NL, Cano in the AL. I'm still anticipating another second half surge by Jeter. If he pulls his average back up over .330 he will win it.

Best bow tie on a major network sideline reporter goes to Fox's Ken Rosenthal.

I'd put Robin Ventura ahead of Manny Acta for AL Manager.

Throw the award away if Hurdle does not win the NL Manager after the Pirates win the NL Central.

Yeah, Ventura would be a good choice, too. I usually don't buy into this that much in baseball, but that clubhouse needed a steadying influence. It was a circus last year.

How about Girardi? The Yankees have had a ton of injuries, and they have the best record in baseball.

And, even when they struggled, he kept chaos from erupting.
