Evan Woodbery, longtime Auburn beat writer at the Mobile Press-Register, has announced on Facebook that he got the job.

 

So now he's taking his pro-Bama agenda across state lines in hopes of ruining yet another program???

 

Good for Evan for getting out of the Newhouse Alabama mess.

 

SEC beat writers are worse than SEC coaches.

Real stoked for Evan. He was unfairly maligned by many fans for a perceived bias against Auburn, which was absolute b.s.

Guy did his job the right way. I'd hire him all day everyday.

 

So, with two weeks or so to go until SEC Media Days, does Birmingham/Mobile have any Auburn writers left?

 

And the esteemed Jay Tate will soon be off the Auburn beat for the Montgomery paper and working for Rivals, so
