Stop giving him the medication he was obviously on this morning.
He should be conscious when the full might of the criminal justice system descends upon him.
The next drug the State provides for James Holmes should be an injection of sodium thiopental.

 

Hell, some of the conspiracy theories might even check out. Intuition may pay off.

But I think I'm correct about the psychological impulse that leads people to question so-called lone wolfs and gunmen to begin with: That guy did that? That guy?

 

Conspiracy theories are like a computer virus for our minds. They can infect even reasonable people.

It's profoundly unsettling the degree to which all of us are vulnerable to what some quirky little dingbat across the street might decide to do. Most of us reconcile ourselves to that rationally. Others of us? Not so much ...

I wish they didn't allow cameras in the courtroom. I don't want him to gain any more notoriety. And I sure as heck don't want some other nut job somewhere to get any ideas with all this media coverage.
