Most of you thought he wouldn't even make it to 3,000.

One of my buddies who's a pediatric surgeon was saying last night how its not about making you bigger, its that you can continue to practice day after day without feeling tired as you normally do; that's the key advantage.

Has Trout been linked to PEDs? That sure would be a kick in the balls to some of the posters here.

What are you talking about? Steroids? Stimulants?

Trout doesn't need Viagra to keep up with his honeys

Steroids have both direct and indirect effects. Their direct effect is that they stimulate the building of muscle mass. Their indirect effect is that they allow you faster recovery between workouts, which amplifies their direct effect. It's not a matter of "feeling tired," because stimulants could be used to ameliorate that. Not arguing with your buddy medically, though. Just disagreeing that that's steroids key contribution.

This is not some new revelation. That is what PED's do. They allow you recover faster, workout harder and not feel the effects of a long season that others do.

Story says the Marlins leads the majors in total steals.

Now when you're talking about recovery time for extra workouts, THAT is what I have to question about why Colon would be taking the stuff.

The fanboi side of this Bay Area native has taken a real beating in the last several weeks: The UNC academic scandal, the Lakers stealing Dwight Howard (I'm a Celtics fan), Melky Cabrera and now Bartolo Colon. Sheesh. Who's next?
