I just saw an "I Am The Tea Party" spot.

On Fox Soccer Channel?

 

They probably just did an ad buy on everything that had Fox in the name.

 

Listening to WWL from New Orleans online, trying to get Issac updates. I shit you not, they had an ad for banquet tickets to "A Toast to Tom Benson." Specifically mentioned him as a humanitarian.

Hope somebody chained down the moving vans.

 

That doesn't surprise me too much, what with the Donald Sterling "humanitarian" print ads I see occasionally in the LA Times.

 

Amazing what winning a Super Bowl can do for your public image.

 

You know, if you move to San Antonio, you're liable to lose a lot of those humanitarian awards.

 

I hate the Fruit Roll-up commercial where the kid asks for a treat and says, "pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease" presumably for almost the entire shopping trip at the store until his mother gives him the Fruit Roll-ups.

 

The drunk driving PSA's where 5-0 is morphed, Terminator II-style, into the sides of buildings, ever-vigilent as people revel in drunkenness before driving are absolutely Orwellian.

 

Just saw an up-beat commercial for...a diabetes checker (Accu-Chek). Do you really have to make them "look cool"?

Those rank right up there with the texting and driving commercials in my book.

 

The Buick commercial featuring Shaq doesn't get on my nerves, but I find it to be a terrible ad. It seems the idea is to show this particular Buick is so roomy, even Shaq is comfortable in it. Instead, it looks like Shaq is squeezing into a Yugo.

 

The cars.com with the woman with another face busting through her hair? Unwatchable. Thy've done these "Oh, that's my confidence" ads before, but this is by far the worst.
