Not true. I, for one, am a Bammer who would love to see Oregon get to the title game (and get its ass whiped).

This Aztec alum is happy tonight. Wins in Boise and Reno this year, not a bad achievement.

Doesn't bother me. You actually think Alabama could put up 51 on Oregon? Or Notre Dame? Will. Not. Happen. K-State might, but I'd be willing to bet the Wildcats can't stop Oregon's offense.

Would this be a good time to mention Collin Klein's injury? I know no one was watching the game, but it seems like a big deal.

I haven't heard anything about the severity of it; just that he left after a TD run.

Rub some dirt on it, swill a little Boone's, and get back in there!

Pitt put up 26 on ND. Bama would have 51 by halftime.

I was at a bowl game a couple of years ago and all the LSU fans did for three and a half hours was bitch about how much they hated their head coach. Now I see their point.

The one thing that doesn't make sense is Miles trying the FG for a 20-14 lead, because then Alabama has to score a TD. It's Alabama -- 92 seconds may has well be 400 seconds.

You have the best punter in college, Les. Tell him to pooch it 10-15 yards to put Bama back at the 7 or 8. And then, even if McCarron does lead the Tide down, they're trying for a FG at best to send it into OT. It's, like, he has faith in the defense to hold a 20-14 lead but not to hold a 17-14 lead with Bama having to march anywhere from 85 to 95 yards.

Not to mention, LSU still kicks off if they make the 44-yarder. There's a chance Bama returns it for a touchdown, which makes the FG a moot point.

I just don't understand not using your very best weapon -- the punter, then 92,000 fans behind the defense -- to win this thing.

Almost as bad as any bad call Kiffin makes at USC.
