Oh, once I saw that it was a functioning iron, I was hoping it was going upside that guy's face.

van Alden reminds me of "Jaws" from the old James Bond movies.

I think this was the first scene where I actually like van Alden. He's always been a doucher, but now he's moved up a rung. That puts him on rung 1.

Anyone catch the cameo from the Wendy's redhead? She was at the dance with Richard Harrow.

Yeah. I saw it. She was in an earlier episode, too.

I think Richard wants to take Jimmy's kid away from the brothel. I think he feels a kinship with Jimmy and stayed around because of that, but killing the Jimmy look-alike and now the incident with the prostitute, I can see him wanting to take the boy out of the situation.

I thought that was going to happen at the end of the last episode.

I can see Richard going to work for Nucky and using his sniper skills to take out Gyp and his boss.

PS: Maybe he can take out Gretchen Mol on his way out the door. Most annoying character in the series.

Fixed the latter part of the p.s. Don't agree with the former.

The walls do seem to be closing in, and an obvious out -- alliance with Chalky, who is as ruthless as Rosetti but not as crazy (an advantage) -- hasn't occured to him.

Who delivers packages at 4 a.m.? 1920s-era FedEx was stunningly efficient.
The end flashback was also very, very well done.
