    It's been rumored for it seems like a couple months now. I know there was a thread about it started by a guy who said he was a former employee. But I haven't seen or heard about an actual announcement.

    Yeah, this was in the works for nearly a year. Had to burn off all the numerous subscriptions they had until the money was right. I know there was someone in that earlier thread that said layoffs were coming this month, but I'm not sure if these two things are associated.

    More layoffs today at Sporting News, including some managers.

    That's all I know. Haven't heard any names. The number I heard was 11.
