I'd like to see ANYBODY start playing in the defensive third, rather than standing around watching the ball.

Didn't have a chance to see the game. Was it overall as bad as people are saying? When;'s Klinsmann gonna wave that magic wand that exponentially improves our player pool?

Complete lack of communication and positioning on the tying goal. How could no one cover the guy in the corner before he crosses it back in?

Yes, it was just as bad as people are saying. To me, at least.

    Just skimmed through match.

First Honduran goal was special with questionable USA defending.

The second one was comically bad USA defending. And Howard isn't absolved from blame on that last one either. I know he was trying to cut down the angle, but why go to the ground to do it?

That game was a disaster. Took 28 minutes to get one legitimate scoring opportunity. I understand weather played a role, but our players looked spent in the first three minutes. Gonzalez was awful in the back even before the final goal. Just a slow, awkward, clumsy game all the way around. If that's what we're going to roll out for qualifiers, we won't make it to Brazil.

Havent even seen highlights, but it's losses like this that keep us from being taken seriously on the world stage.

My brother texted me last night when I was on the road and said Mexico's fans were doing the traditional "Ole!" after completing passes late in their game with Jamaica. But the "Oles!" were for Jamaica.

I'm not sold on Mexico. I know some have touted them as a bona fide contender for the World Cup, but their results were unspectacular in the semifinal round. They beat Guyana 3-1 at home in that round, although to be fair, they did go 6-0. Still, Mexico is like CONCACAF's England. Lot of hype, rarely delivers.

I'll wait for our team to look respectable before grasping at straws to present an idea of Mexico's demise.

    Their talent is exceptional.

Losing at Honduras is not as bad as tying Jamaica at home. Gotta win your home games against inferior competition. That bring said, Mexico has better talent. US just doesn't look good.

Where do I say anywhere about Mexico's demise? And because the United States looked like crap against Honduras, I'm supposed to withhold opinions on Mexico?

Does the US loss to Honduras eliminate them from The World Cup or do they have another chance to qualify?
