No suspects in custody, per NBC News via Boston police commissioner.

It was stoners protesting in favor or legalizing marijuana. But they got the munchies and set the bombs off 11 minutes early.

Yeah but that is that same guy who had to walk back his statement that JFK library fire
    was a bomb.

I remarked to a guy I follow on Twitter the other day how the Boston Marathon is on my bucket list.

Never before have I been glad that I'm a slow-ass runner. I think running community races is just fine with me.

Is it confirmed the guy was running or was it a spectator?

Davis declines to specify whether it was a terrorist attack, says "you can draw your own conclusions based on what happened." Sometimes, if you have nothing to say, it's better not to say anything.

Confused on the elapsed time. Didn't the bombs go off just after 3 p.m.? Don't they still start the race at noon or has it always been 11 a.m.? (I know they now stagger the starts, which they did not used to do). If they started at 11 I have a friend who would have been finishing right around there, even tho I now know my friend is OK and safe.

Noon would be right if the bombs went off at 3:09 of the race.

I don't care where the person who did this is from. He is a terrorist. It was an act of terror, however you define it.

And shame on the NY Post, for coming to false conclusions regarding a Saudi national. And shame on Twitter users, for demonizing Muslims as a result.

According to WBZ Boston and ESPN, two are confirmed dead and now at least 78 injured.

I live in the region, and, according to those who are/were in the area, cell phone service has been stopped to prevent any sort of remote detention.
