The "chunky" OKC cheerleader

    I'm usually not one to fall on the "real women have curves" bandwagon - I'm on record here talking about the mixed messages about healthy body image and how it is in tension with anti-obesity messages, and also about how thin women get some grief they don't deserve, etc., etc.

    That said ...

    The idea that this OKC cheerleader is "chunky" is pretty absurd. Seems drop-dead to me:

    Drop dead from the extra bacon cheeseburgers she has been eating or drop-dead gorgeous?

    They don't wear high heels, do they? She's likely to strike oil in OKC, if she does.

    She'd be the most attractive woman in most rooms - especially the ones most of us spend our time in. Go look up her other photos. This is not a woman with a weight problem - in either direction. Perfectly normal, very good-looking girl.
