Maybe not the best fit for this board, since it's more of a TV/radio gig, but certainly a good opportunity for someone. Definitely one of those jobs that can give you a chance to get to the next level.

NYJets.com On-Air Reporter
Serve as on-air reporter and co-host on the team’s live website programs including but not limited to “Jets Talk LIVE” and “Jets Replay”

Responsibilies:
· JETS TALK LIVE: Every Thursday at 3pm, join Senior Reporter and Team Insider Eric Allen from inside the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center studios as he is joined live by Jets players and team personnel. Fan questions and comments from CoveritLive, @nyjets and Facebook.com/Jets will be featured in the show so tune in Thursdays to newyorkjets.com.
· JETS REPLAY: Immediately after each home game hear from players and coaches during newyorkjets.com’s comprehensive wrap-up show. Senior Reporter and Team Insider Eric Allen hosts the live show from MetLife Stadium featuring in-studio guests, game highlights and fan questions from CoveritLive, @nyjets and Facebook.com/Jets.
· Conduct interviews with players, coaches, celebrities and alumni in-studio, at events and pre and post games
· Engage in debate, dialogue and analysis with other on-air talent
· Breakdown plays, evaluate performances and provide informed opinion to viewers
· Work with editorial, public relations, multimedia and digital departments to produce quality, engaging content

Skills: The team is seeking an experienced on-air talent to help co-host team website programming.
1. He/she must be well-versed in all areas of entertainment and be able to communicate effectively with people in and outside the football world.
2. This position is for someone who can not only inform but engage with fans and the audience.
3. Candidate must possess a deep knowledge of the Jets and the National Football League.

Minimum Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years on air collegiate sports reporting, or Minimum of 1 year professional on air experience, preferably in sports.
· Must have experience in writing scripts.
· Bachelors in Journalism, Communication or related field preferred.

Reports to: Director, Marketing and Communications

Note: This is a contractual assignment, part-time position that includes no benefits and is for on or about 4 months.
