I was thinking that too. Kane will be jobbing to Zach Ryder by September.

And, not to get too political on this thread, but Linda got in trouble when she claimed that she wasn't involved in the storylines, only to have her opponent show her kicking J.R. in the nuts.

    Reid Flair autopsy report

Reid Fliehr's death was attributed to an accidental overdose of heroin based on the ruling of the Mecklenberg County Medical Examiner's office today.

Fliehr, the won of Ric Flair, died on 3/29 after his father and his father's girlfriend found him in an adjacent hotel room as they were going to take off for two weekend wrestling shows. Fliehr also had Xanax and a muscle relaxant in his system according to the TMZ.com web site.

    According to the Wrestling Observer.

Everyone excited for tonight's big PPV?

  4. Curious if CM Punk will actually be wrestling tonight. Otherwise, no interest here.

I'm curious to this myself. Will Punk actually be there?

I think he has to be, even if he doesn't wrestle. Otherwise, they piss off a sizable market with non-delivery of a favorite son. I have a suspicion that he'll tease not coming out, worrying Heyman, but eventually he'll come out, only to turn on Heyman for promising his services without his say-so. Thus setting him up as a face against one of Heyman's guys, either Curtis Axel (snicker) or Jericho after he completes the double-turn by saving Heyman that night, or possibly on Raw the next night.

Now that would be a unique twist.

Or, thinking about this a bit more, perhaps this was always a way to lure Punk in and get ambushed, either by Jericho or another Paul Heyman guy (isn't Big Show due to return shortly?). Heyman, pissed that Punk left him high and dry after Wrestlemania, sets up a "confrontation" with Jericho on Raw in which he "gets pressured" into signing Punk to a match, knowing full well that'll pull him in. Then the ambush as, ahem, Payback for dropping out on him.

Of course, why Punk would wait this long just instead of immediately confronting Heyman is anyone's guess, but there's a danger in infusing real-world logic into a wrestling angle.

Curtis Axel won the IC title when he pinned Wade Barrett while The Miz had him in that shitty figure four of his. Apparently came off really well, and Axel looked as good as he ever has. He apparently also looked to the sky because Mr. Perfect and Father's Day.

I don't know if he's been doing it since his debut, but Axel came out to Henning's old theme music, too.
