Are you going to wear a Dodgers jersey? :)

Wearing my Punto jersey with MVP sprawled across the back instead of his name.

    Or a Dave Roberts jersey.

    Hudson's last six starts: 0-3, 2.95 ERA, 39 1/3 IP, 0.96 WHIP, .215 BAA, 7 BB, 28 K.
He's also gone seven innings-plus in each of his last four starts and given up one earned run or less in three of them. The Braves have scored a total of three runs in those four starts while he was in the game. He hasn't pitched a full inning with the lead since May 21 against the Twins.
    Clearly, he sucks now.

There is NO WAY they send Hudson to the bullpen.

Never said he sucks. But he's not having as good a season as anybody else in the rotation.

    Mike Minor 8-2 2.68 ERA 85K in 90.2 IP
    Kris Medlen 3-7 3.09 64 K in 84.1 IP
    Julio Teheran 5-3 3.36 66 K in 83 IP
    Paul Maholm 7-5 3.65 62 K in 86.1 IP

    Tim Hudson 4-6 4.17 67K in 90.2 IP

Other than Minor, they're all pretty close. Hudson also brings an intangible into the locker room. The players love him. He's the leader of the staff. Definitely wouldn't demote him in any way. It's far different for someone like Maholm, who just arrived last year.

Well, at least beings shown up (again) made you do a little research.

The point is that Hudson has righted the ship after a rough stretch in May. Looking at only the numbers for the entire season without noting trends is a mistake.

Also, see what peacer said. Minor is clearly the best pitcher on that team right now. He and Medlen have been the best Atlanta has since the middle of last season and it's not that close. After that, you can make an argument for any of them to be the one to be pushed aside.

I'd argue that Beachy should just slide into the bullpen because the rotation is working so well right now.

I'm just saying that if you had to push one aside, I'd push Hudson (or Maholm) simply because he isn't performing as well as the rest of the bunch.

I can't believe I'm taking this stupid bait, but the rest of the team would revolt if Hudson were treated like that.
