    Did the NYT change her assignment recently? Thought that might have been the case, which if true would of course be another reason to leave.

    Battista one of the best "teammates" in the business. Knows her beat, works it hard and can write every variety of story, from running gamers to takeouts to columns. Good hire, NFLN.

    Don't know any specifics of this one. But have to admit, I do like it when someone in our business gets moved around like a piece of furniture and fires back relatively quickly (a few months or less) by leaving the dump and the bums who pushed him or her around.
