You spent three weeks lecturing us about the Martyrdom of Aaron Hernandez.

You are not allowed to now come here bearing the executioner's mask for Jameis Winston like it makes you chivalrous.

I didn't say anything about Winston.

My understanding of the definition of rape is what I was referencing.

And I don't need your permission for shit.

Dick, you're giving Bodie way too much credit. He's just fun to bat around.

Regarding the case, I think the woman's version to police was that he slipped her a mickey. So if that's the case, entirely likely she never said "no" (which was the case with, for instance, the Steubenville victim).

So does Winston's alleged victim say she was raped while asleep? Is the police report out there in PDF anywhere?

You're probably right, but the timing of when this happened and when this becoming public is still curious. Didn't TMZ break the story?

Like I said, I hate being cynical about it, and if he raped her, I hope he goes away for life.

I completely disagree - was a big, big-time recruit and everybody knew he would be FSU's starting QB this year and most people predicted him to be a star in both baseball and football.

And "getting in on the ground floor ahead of the stardom" is not at all uncommon among gold diggers.

But let me be clear -- I don't know what happened, who is right and whether or not this woman is lying or a gold digger so please spare me the lectures.

All I am saying is gold digging starstruck females in college -- and their families -- know EXACTLY who the potential stars are going to be so I don't buy this "this happened before he was a star" stuff as proof she is telling the truth

The "this happened before he was a star" stuff is being used far more often as a defense of the Tallahassee police and the Florida State Football Machine, saying they wouldn't have protected him way back then.

    For life???

    He's like 19 years old and a first-time offender!

The scarier thing to me for most men and women is when alcohol is involved. And I don't mean a drink with a roofie in it or whatever. I mean two people get smashed (which happens at binge drinking college parties every weekend), end up in bed and then the next day woman regrets it and claims he forced her and neither can really recall what happened.

That is probably the toughest situation to sort through and it is why I always try to talk to teens about drinking and not losing control.

Could be but that is even bigger bullshit story than the female using it.

Everybody with even a little knowledge of college football knew this kid was going to at least have the opportunity to be a star.

"Zag Talks To Teens" would be the highest-rated and greatest nighttime show since Morton Downey Jr.

Good points. He was the top QB recruit in 2012, so it's not a stretch to think he has a big payday in his future.

Was there any police report out there prior to TMZ getting the story? Because when I covered colleges we ran the names of every player on the team at least once a month and the cops reporters had a list as well.
