  1. A 3-2 break in hockey with a drop pass.

    A short-handed, breakaway goal

A Clyde Drexler, split two defenders and lays it in...

He has a similar play at the 3:14 mark.
    And he has NO rythym.

    George Gervin, finger roll.

Dr J with the ball along the baseline.

  3. My all-time favorite Dr. J moment ever. No Jordan shot compares. Hell, no shot compares to that one.

  6. Football: third or fourth down and short yardage play. Run play gets blocked perfectly against a stacked line, running back breaks past second level and no one is there as he's off for a score. Something just always looked so great about all the tension at the line and then the RB busting a long run.

Baseball: total nostalgia for me here...the opposite field bouncing double down the line on artificial turf. Not sure why, but just have memories of plays like that happening often when I first fell in love with the sport.

Basketball: The North Carolina secondary break run all the way through.

As a Blackhawks fan, this one will always hold a place in my heart. The Colorado announcer's reaction really sells it:

Always loved the one-handed catch. My all-time favorite -- John Jefferson with the Chargers circa 1979. Notice the lack of stickum/gloves. Everyone can do it these days with those tacky gloves.

  9. The Davy Concepcion turf bounce. A thing a beauty. And I hated the Reds.

Always pretty cool when one of the up men receiving an onside kick grabs the ball and returns it for a touchdown.
