I also wonder if they aren't, finally, in their panic over stock and subscriber numbers, planting the seeds for a cena turn. Besides making brock look strong they also make cena look weak, and not like a Superman, and potentially desperate. He has motivation to turn to the dark side.

Really? Seemed kinda MEH to me. The Orton-Reigns match was pretty entertaining, but for 90% of the show, the crowd seemed dead and the action wasn't all that compelling. The main event was 20 minutes of German suplexes and Lesnar sticking out his tongue to the camera. It wasn't even a match.

Full disclosure: I don't watch WWE full-time and decided to watch last night on a whim. I enjoy the WWE Network for the older stuff and getting the PPVs makes it well worth the cost, but I'd be pissed if I would have shelled out $60 or whatever for that. I kinda wish I had those extra couple hours of sleep last night.

Thought it was a solid PPV from top to bottom, but hardly the best ever IMO

I wouldn't say it was the best, either, but like I said, it's one of the best of the past year, at least partially because there's been a lot of crap in that time.

Was literally coming here to say exactly this. Everything about Ambrose-Rollins screams Rock-HHH to me and I hope he can be as great as that feud was for as long as it was. These guys are very entertaining and I'm anticipating their battles for World Title gold far more than what Reigns could potentially evolve into.

As someone said either on here or Facebook (possibly Heelbook), last night was wrestling's death of Superman. And it was built the way it should have been: with Brock absolutely destroying Cena.

And I wonder if that was them finally deciding to pull the trigger on a Cena turn. He started donning the red and yellow colors of Hulk Hogan last week, so maybe that's a sign of things to come. Maybe he takes a few weeks/months off, completely away from TV and everything, returns at a big PPV and pulls a Hogan and turns heel.

There are so many ways they could go with both Cena and Lesnar now. I just hope they don't screw it up.

So is Reigns this generation's Mankind, the guy who's in the title picture but almost never wins it?

So what you guys are saying is that the events of the latest PPV could lay the groundwork of a Cena hell turn?

I'm stunned to read that opinion.

It's pretty damn clear what happened. Cena is off to the movies, Brock holds it for a few PPVs until Bryan is back. If not, Reigns gets a shot. But between now and then, Heyman rules HHH.

Paul Heyman on the mic is must-see television.
