Yeah, unless you're going to a LSU game, I can't think of much reason to go to Baton Rouge.

I visited Seattle (as well as Victoria, BC and Vancouver, BC) last month and absoluty loved it. It was a surprisingly cheap town to drink in. Lots of good beer and bar food in my experience.

    Seattle, for sure.

The Northwest is great. Portland, Seattle, Eugene. Obviously not in the US, but you can never go wrong in Vancouver. I love Toronto too, even though I know some don't.

I also love Toronto. Very much like New York culturally, but not nearly as big and intimidating.

I rag on Alabama a lot, but I really did enjoy my two years there. Florence is an underrated town. Great downtown scene with solid restaurants and bars (at least when I was there). It was interesting driving around the state from time to time and visiting random towns I'd never heard of.

Nashville, New Orleans, and Seattle are probably my top 3 favorite cities. Had a great time in Dallas and El Paso, too.

Philly, NYC and SF are my two favorites.

Brattleboro throws off a weird vibe. Too many left over Viet Nam protesters
and released patients from the mental hospital. When I've stopped there on way
to ski country I felt like I was on a Hollywood set of a Sci Fi tv show.

I've got an old friend living there playing in a bluegrass band. Completely nice guy, seems to love it, but the people he runs with almost seem like a commune.

After college, I had friends in Burlington. I went several times in the spring and summer.
    Very cool town.

Is there still a restaurant called the Iron Wolf?
    Is the OP still open?
