A lot of those were either screen passes, or him dumping the ball to a running back behind the line of scrimmage. And in nearly every case, the Broncos had defenders there to make the play.

Nobody that watched Borland every week at UW is shocked that he is making plays. The only concerns with him are health and perhaps how he would hold up in the passing game. I so wanted Ted Thompson to trade up and grab him in the third round. He didn't and drafted Khyri Thornton, only reason he made the team is he had a mystery injury in last preseason game. BTW, the next Badger defensive player to watch is Vince Biegel, outside LB that is a complete stud. He will be very rich in a couple of years.

Speaking of the Broncos, how about that CJ Anderson?

The McCaskeys are too cheap is really just a myth. They haven't at all been afraid to spend money over the last decade.

It was twice as nice. Found this on Moddy's Facebook stream.

"Reports" say this, or fanboys and team employees on message boards say this? I have followed this case pretty closely and haven't seen a report saying what you contend. I have seen some reports quoting the 49ers that it's bullshit, but I haven't seen anything that attempts to explain what happened or why it wasn't McDonald's doing.

I'll be honest and say it's stuff I'm getting off of KNBR where the people are hearing it from sources in the locker room/speculating on their own (choose your preferred phrasing) that this was blown out of proportion.

Given the fact that the DA is not indicting for lack of evidence, it seems this is more than just fanboi propaganda. It could just as easily be wishful thinking that is being justified by the coincidence of McDonald being "cleared." Like you said, there has been a lack of normally public information about this case, like the police report or then 911 tape that could lend credence to one side or another.

I tend to believe the scenario that it was blown out of proportion simply because the Niners came out so forcefully against domestic violence when this thing broke, but never so much as publicly shook a finger at McDonald. This, IMHO, lends credence to the notion that McDonald got blamed for something that happened at the party that he never did. Or he in fact did something to the woman in question, but did so out of self defense (IE she's coming at him with a knife and he hits her arm/hits her to put down the threat).

well, if you want to believe that having 20 cops on the payroll -- one of whom travels with the team and who on that night got to the house before the 911 responders did and proceeded to interfere with the investigation -- is not an indicator of foul play, I guess I would have a hard time convincing you otherwise.

The 49ers came out forcefully because they are lying bastards who knew they had the fix.

Everybody is evil! The fix is always in! Grab your tinfoil hats! Save yourselves!

And no, the team having police officers on the payroll does not mean that one player is guilty. Sorry, you are making shit up. Then again, that is nothing new for you.

I was just about to say it, but Tirico and Gruden beat me to it: How have both the Chargers and the Saints let Darren Sproles get away?
