What schools did you reject, or who rejected you?

    When I took a visit to UNC, an admissions guy told a room full of us that the vast majority wouldn't be getting in. He was being honest but I remember him perhaps being a bit too smug about it.

    I was told the same thing at Michigan and I remember thinking, "Well, I just got in early decision at Penn, so this should be a slam dunk."

    Not so much.

    Rejected by Missouri, Northwestern and Oregon. Accepted by Marquette after a semester at Northeastern Illinois University, but I had also taken six months off after HS graduation.
