    Man, another guy who gets the big contract and whose body immediately starts to crumble. What are the odds, man, what are the odds.

    A player who has battled weight problems and other issues suffers injuries as he enters his 30s. So does that mean he is clean because he is breaking down physically at a more human rate or does that mean he is dirty because he must have quit using once he got the big money?

    Because Billy Beane wouldn't want to go a week this offseason without making a trade, he sent newly-acquired infielder Yunel Escobar to the Nationals for reliever Tyler Clippard.
