Was down to $2.25 last night on my way home and I'm below E on the gauge. Didn't fill up then because I figured it might be even cheaper today when I go past.

Yeah, but you're up in the mountains. Saw it below $2.20 today. Crazy.

$2.33 in piedmont section of NC. Saw it as low as $2.14 in Myrtle Beach over the weekend.

1.97-1.98 most places around my neck of the woods, which is 40 miles south of Louisville.

With wife's Kroger card, paid $1.40 per gallon yesterday.

Facebook guy in area claims he had so many fuel points saved up he got his for 19 cents a gallon at Kroger.

True. I think it might be around 2.65-2.70 in Silverthorne, but my part of Summit County is still high. We'll see if it drops over the weekend!

I think the free fall may have hit a floor (finally). Oil has been stuck at about $55 a barrel for a week and wholesale gas is holding in the $1.53 range. As for today, I saw $1.86 at a couple of places. I think prices may uptick just a little in coming days as the industry tries to squeeze a year-end profit.
