You may very well be right. My son who has Down syndrome went to Bronxville and I know of at least two other people from that section of Yonkers whose special needs kids went to Bronxville, so it could just be a special needs placement like it was for my son.

Hard to be stuffy when you're in White Plains.

But, "Step in crap" is not where I went.

Fordham Prep. Only the kids from Riverdale and Bronxville were stuffy. (That's actually kind of true.)

Where I got a ticket for going maybe 10 over the limit. Had a fun experience with the judge, though.

Forgot Hackley and Masters. My daughter went to RCDS. It is pretty stuffy.

The climate of Yonkers changed in the mid 60 's when another major city in Westchester started an urban renewal project
that basically leveled the central area of the city and drove the poor minorities to Yonkers. White Planes has prospered
and Yonkers has yet to dig out. A lot of politics went on and made people millions who bought up White Planes property.

New Rochelle is kind of a dump now that Rob Petrie moved out.

Never understood how Ann Marie could be so sophisticated growing up in Brewster.
