Blue collar : white collar :: working class : ruling class.

Since when are cashiers "white collar?" They're wage earners, not salaried employees, and the position requires no education. Are secretaries really "working class?" They don't perform labor, in the sense that defines the working class, and most have some discretionary income. The median salary of a secretary in the Northeast, for example, is $37,000. That's about the median of what most journalists around here make after the first decade of their career. And barbers? Certainly, you don't think they qualify as white collar.

Then the definition of "working class" is bullshit, because working is working, whether you wear a blue collar or a white collar.

You're making a comparison between descriptions of job duties (white collar) and socioeconomic status (working class). All I'm saying is there's not necessarily a correlation between the two.

The comparison is between working class and ruling class, not working class and white collar.

And, yeah, if your work doesn't involve manual labor and the like, you may not be "white collar," but you sure ain't "blue collar."

"White collar" = you work at a desk in an office and produce either paper or computer files.

"Blue collar" = you work at a table/bench in a workshop and you produce consumer goods.

Gosh, Tony, you got so wrapped up in the honest working man's plight that you forgot to comment on the plight
of Fox News and its Horrible Fact-Checked List of Documented Lies. So here ya go again. Surely you have no faith
in these people Fox clowns anymore, right? I mean, surely!

    PolitiFact fact-checked facts, Tony.
That was a weak effort on your part.

C'mon, now. You're dodging the issue.
