MacGregor's column is always apt for these kinds of things.

Greatest sporting event ever described in greatest column, ever: Jeff MacGregor - ESPN

Westbrook is dominating statistically the past 6 weeks, but the reason he doesnt deserve mvp is that the Thunder are losing. When Durant is out, Westbrook's stats go nuts but the Thunder are well below .500. When Westbrook is out and Durant is playing, he wins the mvp because the Thunder still manage to earn the 2 seed behind the eventual champs.

I love watching Westbrook, and this run has been extraordinary, but he just doesnt win as the alpha.

Westbrook out with cheekbone fracture. Even worse, he suffered the injury on a play where he was trying to miss a free throw but actually made it.

I'm trying to figure out the coaching logic of having your best player inbounds the ball when the game is on the line.

Watched part of the Lakers-OKC game. Goddamn, the Lakers suck ass.

How badly do they suck ass? They lost to a team without the MVP, the possible MVP, and Ibaka. Lost by double-digits.

Jerry Buss was too fucking drunk to spin in his grave.

    On another note ...
