The next Comedy Central Roast will be... James Franco...

The should keep these things to 90 minutes. Thought Martha Stewart's prison bit was the highlight.

 

Watching it right now... Kevin Hart is killing it as emcee.

 

They usually film 3-4 hours and edit.

 

"Kevin, I loved you as Black Annie."

 

Pete Davidson doing more for his career in five minutes than he has during his first season on SNL.

 

"You're like our Beatles... Not the band, the bugs that live in shit..."

 

I haven't watched it yet, but I heard he gave a "heartfelt" apology for the douche he has been. Anyone buying it?

 

They should have literally roasted him over an open fire.

 

I don't know... He had people who he's worked with show up for the roast, which puts him ahead of Sheen and Chase.

 

Apparently, Comedy Central pulled most (but not all) of the Bruce Jenner jokes.

Jeff Ross: "Kendall Jenner, if you and Bieber get married who is going to give you away? The only man in that family is Khole Kardashian."

Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy: "You Bruce Jenner Hollywood Hermaphrodites... That's all you people are."

It's a roast people...

 

It always confuses me where Comedy Central draws the line on these roasts. Racist jokes, sexist jokes, homophobic jokes, anti-semitic jokes are the accepted norm. Perhaps jokes about transexuals is the new taboo that hasn't been crossed enough yet to make it on TV.

 

They cut out all of the Paul Walker jokes. Apparently, there were quite a few.

Based on the jokes that made it, throwing a fit about the Jenner jokes seems absurd, especially since Bieber is dating his daughter and she was in attendance.
