We are looking for someone to cover games; write breaking news, features and enterprise stories; use social media as a journalistic tool; and appear on video for the growing multimedia presence at ForsythNews.com.

There is also the opportunity to cover the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons and college football (Georgia, Georgia Tech).

Our compensation package includes competitive pay, medical, dental and life.

Brian is a good guy and the EE is great to work with. Cumming is an expensive area to live, but a nice place. It's a good gig for someone out of college.

This is the position I just left for the Rocky Mount Telegram. Brian really is a great guy to work for and with, lots of good athletes and people in the county. Most folks who work there don't actually live in Cumming but instead found places in Roswell/Alpharetta, or even Sandy Springs. Anybody with questions can email me, fosterlander at gmail.

Applied to this job right when it opened. The editor told me that they were looking to hire someone rather quickly. I don't know if the position has been filled yet.
