The thread title pretty much said it all. Britt McHenry is not nice. BFD.

Here's a Reddit written by someone who works the window at the impound lot.

When it gets down to a dummy arguing with a puppet, it's comedy gold.

As usual, you and others here completely miss the point. Who said irony was dead?

Few things grow more wearisome than those who declare others are missing the point without ever attempting to articulate or explain their point. Enough with the cryptic bullshit and passive aggressive shots, goalmouth, either explain your point to us dullards or shut the fuck up.

I don't know who Britt McHenry is and don't get ESPN, but I believe the point whomever was making is that any man in this situation would not have been told to go play with a toy.

He probably would have been told to get laid, which also degrades women.

    Yes, it's wearisome.

She honestly never appeared on my radar before this, so I took to YouTube to watch some of her reports. Egads.

No doubt in my mind she got the gig because of her looks. Simplistic analysis and high school level "reporting" delivered in a halting, wooden manner that makes Christopher Walken look like Crispin Glover. Good God, ESPN.

Well, gee, maybe I'm just a slow witted rube, but I'm still not getting these posts. Please explain to me how she was allegedly "told to go play with a toy." Can you cite examples?

Here you go. "Double-ended" toys, to be specific.

That was a reference to the whacko Augusta GA mom thread. Maybe I should have used blue font and/or /crossthread

    I don't get ESPN either.

It always sounds like I'm missing so much, too.

By the way, does anyone know for sure that McHenry wasn't just making an ironic statement about class warfare in this video?
