Back to the original thread; I'm in the midst of reading "The Boys in the Boat" and came across an astounding fact. The University of Washington's football program played 63 games without losing between 1907 and '17, during which it gave up just 118 points. In the immortal words of Frank Barone, "Holy crap!"

Spent the afternoon at the National Arboretum, across from the Washington Times, looking at bonsai, flowering dogwood and many others. Most of the bonsai are older than I am. I think the oldest I saw has been "in training" since 1835. Wow.

Been hearing references to CORSI during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Now I know what it is. Seems legit even though I'm on the anti-SABR team.
