McHenry's brat act doesn't begin to approach the rotten resumes of some of ESPN's on-air 'talent', but give the people what they want!

Look, I don't think she should be fired, but I do think one week is weak. Unless they plan on giving her eternal WNBA and World Series of Poker assignments.

Advance Towing: Let Britt have her tar-tar sauce.

Towing company releases statement following Britt McHenry suspension - The Washington Post

    To Whom It May Concern:

Parking enforcement is contentious by nature. At the same time, neither Gina, our lot clerk, nor our company, have any interest in seeing Britt McHenry suspended or terminated as a result of her comments.

Ms. McHenry is our neighbor, and, as she said, to paraphrase, made remarks that were out of line. She is human and errors in judgement can be made in the heat of the moment.

Gina is a single mother of 3 children who works a difficult job to provide her family. Gina holds no ill will toward Ms. McHenry.

As a small regulated business, we saw no benefit to releasing the video, except to highlight personal attacks employees in jobs like towing, public parking enforcement and others sometimes encounter. The video was not licensed or sold to anyone.

A quick Googling of "Advanced Towing" might change a few people's minds about who the real asshole is in this situation.

According to the Post guy, you have to Yelp Advance to get the best hate.

I don't think the cashier was told ahead of time that McHenry was going to go off on her. :D

Can't we have more than one asshole?

An asshole employer does not make it OK to maliciously taunt and abuse the single mom working as a clerk there.

Yeah, it looks like they took the high road except for the fact that they edited and released the video.

I want to see Deadspin or TBL or someone interview "Gina"

Do we know this person is a single mom, or is that just stereotyping for effect?

According to the towing company's statement: "Gina is a single mother of 3 children who works a difficult job to provide her family."
