Not really a song, but a great YouTube compilation of ALL the David Gilmour guitar solos from Pink Floyd songs. It's very well done:

I remember Depeche Mode, Songbird ... but not everyone does.

Funny story: My wife was talking with a younger (mid-20s) co-worker the other day, and for some reason the OMD song "If You Leave" came up. The young woman knew it well, and said she loved OMD music.

Then my wife recalled seeing Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark as the opening act for Depeche Mode in the 1980s, and the same young woman had no clue who Depeche Mode was. We thought that was odd, since DM had way more albums and "hits" than OMD.

Listening to the new Zac Brown Band record, which is excellent from start to finish, but is every band/singer/whatever obligated to write a song comparing their significant other to a drug?

As music videos go, I think Maroon 5's "Sugar" is a concept for the ages. Just about perfectly done for the audience it's meant to reach.
