She'll be re- elected after this embarrassing display by the same people who just want to do what's best for a city that deserves answers.

 

I'm sure a lot of careful thought and planning went into these political statements.

 

Love seeing a man who owes his fame, fortune and success to his violent tendencies, and who's notorious for involvement in the coverup of a murder which many believe he helped commit, screaming at the rest of us that "violence is not the answer!"

Peacenik Ray Lewis abhors violence and loves puppy dogs more than you do.

This is the statement the mayor made on Saturday that she now blames the media for distorting:

“I made it very clear that I work with the police and instructed them to do everything that they could to make sure that the protesters were able to exercise their right to free speech,” Rawlings-Blake said. “It’s a very delicate balancing act. Because while we try to make sure that they were protected from the cars and other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well. And we worked very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to de-escalate.”
