You wait just a gosh-darn minute there, fella. That's not true at all.

 

Who else are you against due process for?

 

Grandstanding doesn't do much good if no one's paying attention.

You'd think every other politician in the history of the world would've caught on to this by now.

 

As long as she can prove it. She's now set expectations very high by announcing murder charges.

If she fails in the prosecution, the riots will be worse. (cf. King, Rodney)

I don't envy her today, but it is the job she sought.

 

In the meantime, allowing the people of Baltimore to freely deal drugs would be a huge step in the healing process.

 

I'm worried that the prevailing wind will force Democrats to go squishy on crime.

I much preferred when Democrat candidates for President were determined to prove that they were tough on crime:

Rector was a black inmate on death row who had shot himself in the head after committing a double murder and, instead of dying as a result, had achieved the same effect as a lobotomy would have done. He never understood the charge against him or the sentence. After being served his last meal, he left the pecan pie on the side of the tray, as he told the guards who came to take him to the execution chamber, "for later."

It should be no surprise that the Clintons are playing the race card.

My thoughts and prayers are with all those at Fox News who spent several days praying Freddie Gray broke his own neck and crushed his own larynx in an attempt cash in on that sweet, sweet coffer of free money given out to fake police brutality victims. May you make it through this difficult hour.

 

I don't think Fox News is responsible for electing the people who have failed to lead and have been derelict in their duty to do anything to improve the plight of Baltimore's poor. No matter what happens with this latest incident, nothing will change as long as the good people of Baltimore continue to elect bad leaders.

 

Would you have any of your own thoughts if it was?

 

Gray showed moocher determination far beyond the call of duty in managing to shackle himself hand and foot, after breaking his own neck, all in pursuit of that sweet sweet moocher cash.
