Howard would have known what to do with it if he had gone to college for 4 years.

When I saw the pass to Howard I knew the game was over. They looked indecisive in that moment. The four letter is ragging on them for not taking a timeout, but Harden had time to either continue to drive or fake the drive, step back and take a shot.

I also like how Harden is talking these last two games as a moral victory, that they were right there on the road and now they're coming home. The truth is they blew Game 1 and bungled an opportunity in Game 2 and now are in a must win in Game 3 at home. The Warriors are not the Clippers, coming back from this will be harder than they think.

Really? A pure post player with no dribbling or outside shooting skills gets the ball 28 feet away with a teammate who's currently the best scorer in the entire friggin world standing to his left calling for the ball, and you think he made some horrible decision passing it to him? Oh please. If Howard had tried to drive, you'd be bashing him today for selfishly refusing to give it back to Harden. Dude can't win no matter what he does with some folks.

As Webster noted, there might be some basis criticizing Howard for not getting down the court faster, but bashing him for passing it to Harden in that spot is absurd.

It was Howard's only sane move.

I guess in some circles it's out of the question that the Warriors, the best defensive team in basketball, just played good defense on that play.

Imagine the crap LeBron would be taking if that was him not Harden on the final play.

It's easy to say Harden failed because he's been hitting tough shots in each of the last two games. Seeing how often he stepped back and hit a jumper, it seems odd he didn't do that again.

That said, we aren't criticizing Harden for not shooting if it wasn't for the spectacular defense by Curry and Thompson. They made Harden second guess himself and forced the turnover. It was fantastic transition defense.

So the consensus here is Howard is helpless if he has the ball away from the hoop, right?

And yes, someone should have taught him to dribble once and shoot or dribble once and take a step and a half to the rim. Somewhere. Someone. Howard has more physical gifts than 99% of all big men in the NBA, ever.

And it was only fantastic transition D because the trail man on the break, who was wide open, did not know what to do with the ball.

Thompson and Curry gambled and left a man wide open while they were leading. You don't leave people open when you are leading. It worked out that time.

I definitely remember Kareem and Ewing busting those 28-footers. It's what big men do.

Jordan would've willed Howard's hand into a dribbling motion, shrunk him six inches, sped him up and driven him through all five defenders to the hoop.

    With the flu.
