    You'd think Goodell would at least use Troy Vincent or somebody else as his puppet on this one. Sure, nobody would believe he didn't make the decision just as nobody believes he didn't set the punishment as it stands now, but at least go for the illusion of a fair appeal.

    That said, it is really funny to see the union insisting that he must recuse himself when they allowed this ridiculous system to be put in place.
