    There's not that much going on in the immediate area around Van Dorn Street metro. It's all industrial, minus a small town house community and a couple apartment buildings down Eisenhower.

    That's true, but there are also no fewer than 40 high-rise or otherwise sprawling apartment/condo complexes all within a mile.
