Backstory | Discussing the stories behind the story

 

I'll never tire of hearing Bob Ryan talk about the profession.

But if he had the pick of the lot, he'd cover the Yankees? Really? In 2015? There are so many cities and teams with better, and more bountiful, storylines.

Nonetheless, I sit here thinking for a minute ... As a fan of all four major sports leagues ... And, as a non-Yankee fan, I find myself reading far more Yankees writers than any other reporters from a team I am not a fan of. Guess he has a point.

 

I was caught off guard by that response, too. But there's never a shortage of drama there.

 

Looks like a good place to poke around, and seems like it's off to a very good start. Thanks for sharing Mark and good luck with it.
