They gave up nothing to get him -- an infielder who has already had a chance in the bigs and has no position, and a pitcher who is two years away from the majors in the best case.

 

Heck yes. Great pickup by the Giants. Now they need to get Chapman. Casilla is shaky as a closer. They also ought to bring Osich back up.

 

Leake's stuff is so good -- Cy Young good -- but he is frustrating to watch sometimes.

 

Leake has had a huge home/road split during his time with the Reds, which would seem to indicate he'll thrive in San Francisco.

Another great under-the-radar move for the Giants.

 

Here in DC, it's all Harper all the time, obviously. But Goldschmidt is having a ridiculous year. People RAVE about Harper's walks this year, and rightfully so. Goldschmidt has eight more.
