I found this a pretty interesting read regarding some legal issues and possibilities of punishments Palmer could be facing in the death of Cecil. Also, note the last graf concerning internet postings and legal issues regarding that as pertains to Dick Whitman's point.

Basically, internet postings mean nothing, really, in terms of ruining a person's life (which was my opinion but I felt that should be obvious) unless the threat can likely be taken truly seriously and can be seen as more than just words/spouting off.

 

Zimbabwe demanding Palmer's extradition is pretty ballsy considering the body count and the general corruption of Robert Mugabe.

Cecil's cubs are really fucked now:

The cubs fathered by Cecil the lion are being protected by his brother amid fears they will be killed by a male rival, researchers said today.

The much-loved lion was killed by American dentist Walter Palmer earlier this month, sparking outrage around the world.

After his death, there were fears his cubs would be killed by the next lion in the hierarchy so he could father his own offspring with the females in the pride.

But a team at Oxford University's Wildlife Conservation Unit, which had been studying Cecil before he was shot dead, said the lion's brother had stepped in to safeguard the young.

Jericho lives!!

False information being put out about Jericho - brother to Cecil - being shot today. According to Brent Staplekamp at Hwange Lion Research, Jericho was alive and well at 8.30 tonight and moving around Antoinette Estate ( where Cecil was shot) with a female. I can assure you no one is hunting lion on Antoinette after the Cecil incident!!
