Pirates were 79-49 and I added 30 to 82, which gave me 112, but adding 30 to 49 gives me 79 losses and way too many games.

No problem. We all screw up math at times. Just had to kid you about it. Carry on.

Arrieta is 5-0 with 0.54 ERA in August.

    Goes against Dodgers right now.

Still waiting for the Astros to piss their leg.

Arrieta is about to throw a no-hitter ... and eliminate me from the fantasy league playoffs. Fucking asshole.

If Lincecum is done as a Giant, he's almost certainly done as an MLBer. He was struggling to hit the high 80s by the end.

Tim Lincecum's hip recovery stalls, and he might have thrown his last pitch as a Giant: "The bad days are outshining the good ones" - Giants Extra

Has to be about the most up-and-down career in history. He and Koufax are the only pitchers with two Cys, two WS rings and two no-hitters; but at age 28 and coming off four seasons in a row of top-10 Cy finishes, he had the worst ERA of any pitcher in the league.

Hard to say. He was brilliant to start: Rookie of the Year, Back-to-Back Cy Youngs, let the league in Ks for three years in a row, has 1,704Ks for his career (through nine seasons), was dominant in the post season in 2010 and four All-Star appearances. But he has been so bad the last three, arguably four, years despite no-hitters in 2013 and 2014. He hasn't had an ERA below 4 since 2011. One of the best pitchers in the 2010 playoffs was relegated to the bullpen in the 2012 playoffs and had one appearance in 2014. And one could argue his second Cy Young was the result of Wainwright and Carpenter splitting votes. His lack of longevity probably hurts him. But damn, when he was good, he was good.
