I think as long as Barkley sticks, he got the better deal. I'm sure that "camp arm" comment stings a bit now, but spending the next four months in Zona as opposed to Philly will be much more fun.

Barkley has to be better than Ryan Lindley, right? With Palmer's injury history, it seems Barkley's in a pretty good spot as far No. 3 QBs go.

I wonder if Tim ever says the f word. Like when getting this news, does he say (or think): "Well, fuck."

    Well that's bullshit.

Maybe Chipper is clearing a spot for RGIII.

Surprised, but I'd hold off making any pronouncements about cuts until rosters are set on Tuesday. Tebow isn't eligible for the practice squad, but some other players the Eagles may hope to stash might be. They all have to be waived before they can come back. And I'm pretty sure the Eagles felt there wasn't a risk waiving Tebow.

Never mind what I just said
Chip says Eagles will add a quarterback, Tebow not good enough

Chop Kelly sure created some coitus interruptus. I love the one internet posting I saw: given that Kelly has been accused of being a closest racist, he tried to burnish is cred with the brothers by cutting the whitest guy in the NFL.

In a possibly related move, Cowboys cut both prospective QBs Jameill Showers and Dustin Vaughan, leaving just Romo and Weeden.

    Hmmmmmmmm....

So long, Jameill. We'll always have the good times.
