Ben Carson: Bungling Surgeon

Has there been a time in recent history during which the "pundits" have been this far removed from the pulse of the electorate?

 

Other than the last time?

No.

O'Malley came to town a couple, three weeks ago.

Not counting press and entourage, a couple dozen people showed.

That was it.

 

You could argue that a lot of "pundits" have spurred on the electorate. The yelling, the histrionics, the blaming of others. I think that's Trumps strength. Trump has basically stolen Limbaugh's act.

 

Oh, I get that. I'm just referring to the dozen-plus times they've declared "the last straw" with Trump's campaign. If they were even slightly attuned to his supporters, they'd know this is exactly what they want. And, the more ignorant and hateful, the better.

They keep trying to follow the normal rules of politics, and those haven't really been a factor in almost six months and the "pundits" still haven't caught up.

I was looking at a headline on Google News a minute ago that read "Has Trump finally gone too far?" How many variants of that headline have we seen in the last three months?

 

Quite the first post.

 

He waited 12 years to say that.

 

Announce your presence with authority.

 

Trump's idea apparently has some support.
