I actually just scrolled through Facebook and the funniest thing is 100 people in a row commenting how its wrong, as if they were the only ones sharp enough to realize it.

Pretty crazy that of the $1.5B payout, you'd net less than 1/3. That said, forget all this talk about a new car, but something not too outrageous. I'm buying a fucking Bugatti.

That is fun. Over 17 years, playing the same numbers, I've spent $3,199 and won $287.

Would it be in poor taste to buy my own private PopeMobile?

I'm at the MGM Grand and they don't have Powerball in Nevada, so I'm thinking I may be able to auction off the two tickets in my pocket before the drawing.

Dude, don't do it. Imagine if you auction off the winning ticket for $10. Good lord, that would be a kick in the nuts.

The starting bid would be up around $100. I figure I'll be in a room with hundreds of degenerate gamblers. I can do it over by the high stakes tables.... Then probably get arrested and escorted off the casino floor.

OK, imagine you auction off a $1.5B lottery ticket for $1,000. That's still brutal.

    Two rules for the lottery:
    1) Always buy into the office pool
    2) Never give away (or in this case, sell) a ticket

Man, I keep thinking about this, Cran. I love your idea in theory, but could never bring myself to do it. I'd be too terrified of giving up a winning ticket.

Starting bid at $200, and you get 5% of whatever winnings.
    $2 or 1.5 billion........
