Thanks for finally sending the Spurs-Cavs box two hours after the game ended Saturday. There were no "delayed at the source" messages, so I'm guessing they just took their sweet time since it was the final game of the night.

National signing day lists, a staple of coverage for years, didn't move in a usable form until after midnight ET.
At least three hours too late to be useful for us.
I had some early warning that this was going to happen. Responsibility for the lists was passed from New York to the AP's Spokane agate farm this year for the first time. I filled the half-page I usually reserve for those SEC lists with an abridged form of the league capsules they moved on a more timely basis.
The lists can run Friday, but I hate they weren't ready sooner.

Yeah, that pissed me off too. I kept waiting and waiting, and finally did it myself. They moved them on the wire 15 minutes later.

Should have been able to put the paper to bed 30-45 minutes ahead of deadline. Waiting for a Cavs box that never came left us up against it before I finally called it. Almost 1 a.m. before it moved. No excuse for that, minus a technical issue.

In the lede of the Hall of Fame story tonight, they told a touching story about Brett Favre driving to New Orleans to attend Ken Stabler's last game -- in 1994.
It was good of the Saints to let him make a comeback 10 years after he retired and somewhere around the age of 50. Even better for the Packers to give Favre a Sunday off to go see it.

Looking at next week's TV sked, whoever handles that stuff now called Arkansas-Pine Bluff "Arkansas-Pine Brook" in its game against Alcorn State. Good job, AP.

Is it just me, or has nothing come across AP Exchange for nearly an hour and a half (as of 4:59 Eastern)?

Nope. Nothing since 3:30 on sports wire.

    Stupid question time...

How do you report score corrections to the AP? Is there an email address or a twitter handle you can send it to? Last night there was a score attributed to a local team, but it wasn't a local game, and they used a co-op name from a different sport.

We've always called the Louisville shop, or they've called us if they needed a score.

I deal directly with the AP's score center in Spokane. It's apscores@ap.org - usually does the trick.
