You got some fucking stones to talk about stuff like that, man. I'm of the mind that you have to wait until the kids are grown to tell them that kind-of stuff. Until they're really old enough to process it. If my grandmother had told me how her parents were brutally murdered when I was 17, I wouldn't have truly understood it. But telling me at 30 made it a bit more real, and I was able to understand it more in terms of "life," and how shit's not always tied up in a neat, pretty little bow like you think when you're 17. Shit's messy.

exmedia, one more thing. It's a bad break to learn you may have a genetic disposition for a disease, but it's also way, way, way better to find that out, because you can be tested and treated (should that need arise) as early as possible. I have Marfan's syndrome, a genetic disorder. A couple of years ago, I fell on ice and hit my head. In the course of the CT scan, they discovered a very small aneurysm on the aortic wall of my heart. I see a cardiologist regularly, it's scanned every year, and so far it hasn't grown a bit so I don't need surgery. I can think of nothing worse than walking around with an undiagnosed health issue.

The Clinton camp is full of shit. Portraying Bernie's campaign as negative is BS.

Portraying Bernie's campaign as negative = irritated that Sanders is still sticking around, even though he has no chance and he's a wild-eyed radical and how dare he! and etc. etc.

U.N. diplomats race to make deals that take advantage of U.S. (and president Obama's weakness) while they still can:

Yes. Obama is weak, in that hardly any of his deals contained a clause that involved tax breaks for building a huuuuge hotel and casino in the country looking for the deal.

I'd actually be curious to know how many of those signatures are from registered Republican voters who are staunch gun rights advocates and how many are Democrats stirring the pot and trying to expose GOP hypocrisy. I suspect the majority of signatures are from Democrats.

Georgia's governor, a Republican, vetoes a Republican bill passed by an overwhelmingly Republican legislature that would've codified the right to discriminate on religious grounds.

The Party of No is splintering before our very eyes. To borrow a line from a Georgia band, what's that on your head? A Whig!
